Rainey days in a cosy office

Hello!
Sarah here. Now writings not my strong point so forgive me if my blog entry isn't that interesting. I though it might be a good idea to get the crew talking about their experience of making the film both on and off location.

I was one of the unlucky ones who didn't get to jet of to Thailand, that's low budgets for you, however I free pretty dam lucky to be working on the film anyway. I think I migth actualy have the best job in the world. It may be a miserable rainy day in London today, however, I'm sitting here in Tinge and Chris's cosy house (which is the office) with my slippers on and Tinge is cooking up some yummy soup for lunch. Maybe I'm not the unlucky one after all!

Working on this film has been amazing. Particularly as I've never worked on any kind of film or TV before. It all still seems very glamorous and exciting to me just to be behind the scenes of everything and to get an idea of how anything I've ever watched on TV and in the cinema has been produced is amazing. My family back up in the deapths of the north are either really excited for me or actually don't seem to really understand that this is what I do as a job.

Anyway, before I write too much, that's some of my expereinces so far. Also, I'd like to tell everyone that I've bought a new bike today which I am incredibley excited about. Its dead flashy!

Shoot Photos

Phuket Airport. We had just found out our plane was delayed until 11.30pm when Mum, Neng and the childline crew turned up with flowers.

It was relief to finish filming the scene in the hospital bedroom as there was a patient due in the next half hour.

Ilya and Celyn used their size to good effect throwing excited sea-gypsy kids high into the air.

Shobna met a bunch of schoolgirls who were doing a project and asked for her to take a group photo. Instead of cheese, all the girls shouted 'Robbie Williams'.

Art and his new best friend.

Through a hidden series of alleys in the sea gypsy village we were led to their 'nightclub', which contained this amazing reclaimed pool table.

Ilya and his holiday romance.

Sea-gypsy children in their village.

Sea-gypsy children in their favourite place - the sea!

Filming the fire show. There's me, getting the wrong exposure as usual.

This a lovely shot of Viking Beach. I wish my shots had come out this nice.

Rob and Cel play football with the sea gypsy kids.

Val and a sea gypsy baby.
